Spring is here and Summer is coming on the OBX
Spring is here and the Outer Banks is alive with people. We are seeing record numbers of visitors for spring break and it already feels like summer! There are a lot of events and activities happening on the Outer Banks now and even more as summer approaches. Here are a few ideas for you to think about as you plan your Spring into Summer on the Outer Banks.

This week-long event has been a spring staple for many years now, and this year looks to be an exciting time. Sponsored by the Harley Davidson dealer of the Outer Banks, this event brings visitors from all over the country.

ESA Mid-Atlantic Regional Surfing Championships
April 30 – May 2
The Easter Surfing Association (ESA) is the biggest amateur surfing association in the world. Promoting family and healthy lifestyles, this group brings a great surfing event to our shores each year. The competition will be located at Jeanette’s pier and is open to all.
49th Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular
May 13 -16
Billed as the longest-running hang gliding competition, this event is always a great time. Perfect for families and located in beautiful Jockey’s Ridge, this gathering is a great destination for your spring trip to the Outer Banks.
Happenings at The Beachside Bistro
We are happy to announce that nightly features have begun along with happy hour and live music on Saturdays! The Beachside Bistro is one of the only truly oceanfront restaurants on the Outer Banks and we are looking forward to a great season! Additional lunch and dinner hours will be added soon.
