A Quiet Outer Banks Valentine’s Day Getaway
The Sea Ranch Resort is the perfect place to plan a quiet Outer Banks Valentine’s Day getaway. Our barrier island community has become more popular than ever in the past year. With more people living here year-round and more visiting, it feels like THE place to be. (It doesn’t hurt that the show “Outer Banks” is a Top 10 Netflix show). We are close to the Norfolk-Va Beach area and are a half-day drive from places like Richmond and Raleigh. This makes our location perfect for some last-minute planning and convenient drive times. The winter is quiet here, but not dead, so it makes a perfect balance to enjoy some alone time with your partner. We have great beaches for walking and year-round sites to see so there is also plenty to do.
Some things to do for your romantic escape
There are quite a few things to do here in the winter, especially around Valentine’s Day. Many restaurants are still open and there are some great places to get a glass of champagne or wine. February on the Outer Banks can be cold, but it’s a great time to get outside and enjoy our many parks and wildlife refuges. The Sea Ranch Resort is a perfect location to have access to many adventures on the OBX and our oceanfront view is stunning!
