Winter Lights at Elizabethan Gardens

The Elizabethan Gardens is not just a summertime attraction! From now until January 19th, the gardens are embellished in thousands of twinkling lights and holiday decor. Experience the magic of the holidays with the enchanting lights, sights and sounds of the Elizabethan Gardens turned into a “winter wonderland.” Don’t allow fear of the cold outdoors hold you back either- the gardens will have a fire on the great lawn to warm up around. This event is weather dependent, so check the Elizabethan Garden’s website before venturing out!

New Year’s Celebration in Manteo, NC

Gather with the people you want to start the new year with in Manteo on New Year’s Eve for the downtown celebration. Downtown local restaurants and bars will be open late into the evening for this Outer Banks holiday. Live music from several bands and DJs will be performed leading up to midnight. An early ball drop is scheduled for the young ones at 8 p.m. The celebratory evening will conclude at midnight with a beautiful fireworks display from a barge in Shallowbag Bay.
